- Check that the electrician you’re considering is qualified and part of any government approved schemes. Also ask to see paperwork. It’s easy to say you’re qualified without showing any proof.
- Ask around and get more than one quote. Atleast then you will know what the going rate is on average.
- If you’re still not certain about a certain electrician, ask for references. Any good electrician, would have more than one reference they can call upon.
